Oklahoma's Parrish Cobb suspended from the university

The news surrounding Parrish Cobb got worse on Wednesday, as Oklahoma President David Boren said the cornerback is now suspended from the university following a recent arrest.

"He's suspended from the university and the team until the facts of the investigation are known," Boren told Eric Bailey of the Tulsa World.

Cobb was suspended from the Sooners program following an arrest for alleged involvement in three first-degree felony robberies around his hometown of Waco, Texas.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder played in four games during his first season of college football, registering seven tackles total.

The freshman defender was originally committed to Baylor, but flipped to Oklahoma after being released following the dismissal of head coach Art Briles due to a sexual assault scandal.
