Kansas names TCU's Doug Meacham offensive coordinator
Kansas has hired TCU's Doug Meacham to be its new offensive coordinator, the school announced Monday.
Meacham spent the past three seasons as co-offensive coordinator of the Horned Frogs.
"I am thrilled to be adding someone of the caliber of Doug Meacham to our staff," head coach David Beaty said. "Doug is someone I have admired for quite some time for his creativity on the offensive side of the ball. I have had to go up against him several times and it was always a huge challenge because of his ability to direct an offense. I am incredibly thankful to have him on our staff moving forward."
TCU finished 29th in the country when it came to total offense in 2016, despite losing Josh Doctson and Trevone Boykin.
Meacham is also slated to coach the receivers for Kansas.
