Iowa's Leshun Daniels: Best game of season Saturday
Daniels had 26 carries for 159 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's win over Illinois.
Analysis:
After being held in check the past two weeks (24 combined carries for 72 yards), Daniels re-emerged Saturday for his best game of the season. He averaged a whopping 6.1 yards per carry as Iowa racked up 262 rushing yards on the Illini. Although Akrum Wadley has cemented a significant role out of the Iowa backfield, Saturday's performance could result in Daniels seeing a strong workload in the season finale against Nebraska.
