Iowa's Matt VandeBerg: Out indefinitely
Iowa released a statement Tuesday saying that VandeBerg (foot) is out indefinitely.
Analysis:
VandeBerg suffered a broken foot in Monday's practice, marking the first major injury to the Iowa receiving corps this season. His loss is a massive one as he's the only Iowa wide receiver with double-digit receptions. He was quarterback C.J. Beathard's favorite target, so the senior quarterback will have to quickly improve his chemistry with the likes of Jerminic Smith, Riley McCarron, and Jay Scheel. It's unclear whether VandeBerg will be able to return this season.
