Notre Dame president gets chirped at presidential debate
Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports
Notre Dame's president, the Rev. John Jenkins, was in attendance at Monday's U.S. presidential debate, and took a shot from the co-chairman of the Commission on Presidential Debates.
Frank Fahrenkopf reminded Jenkins of the Fighting Irish's rough start to the season while introducing him.
Jenkins is on the commission's board of directors.
The 1-3 start is the worst for Notre Dame since 2010, coach Brian Kelly's first season in South Bend.
