Alabama linebacker Joshua McMillon confirmed his desire to remain a member of the Crimson Tide for the rest of his college career Sunday.
The announcement comes on the heels of a report claiming the redshirt freshman was seeking a transfer, a claim McMillon disputed.
McMillon protected his Twitter account Sunday evening, reportedly after this tweet:
The initial report hinged on McMillon missing two days of Alabama practice, but according to Matt Zenith of Al.com, the absence was due to a death in the family.
McMillon is coming off a redshirt season, and is expected to make an impact on special teams and provide depth at linebacker.
