Maryland deepened its 2017 recruiting class Sunday when four-star guard Marcus Minor announced his commitment during "SportsNet Central" on CSN.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder out of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md., is the 17th-ranked guard and rated 226th on the ESPN 300 for the 2017 class.
Minor selected Maryland over other offers from schools such as Auburn, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
