Duke has suspended defensive tackle Brandon Boyce and safety Phillip Carter for three games, head coach David Cutcliffe announced Thursday. No reason was given for the discipline.
Boyce, a sophomore, recorded one sack last season to go along with 24 tackles while playing as a true freshman.
As a sophomore in 2015, Carter managed 10 tackles and also boasts an interception in his career with the Blue Devils.
The pair will be eligible to practice with the team, but will miss games against North Carolina Central, Wake Forest, and Northwestern.
