Scale down those rumors of Big 12 expansion.
Oklahoma president David Boren said Tuesday he doesn't expect the conference to make a decision on possible expansion over the summer:
Boren has been the most vocal supporter of expansion over the past several months. However, he indicated at the league meetings in early June that he was satisfied - at least for the time being - with the Big 12's vote to reintroduce a conference championship game beginning in 2017.
