Auburn hauls in 4-star outside linebacker Chandler Wooten
John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Four-star outside linebacker Chandler Wooten is headed to Auburn, as the coveted 2017 prospect announced his commitment to the Tigers on Friday.
Wooten chose Auburn over Tennessee and Florida, but had secured scholarship offers from many other top programs as well.
The Kennesaw, Ga., native is ranked by ESPN as the No. 13 outside linebacker in the 2017 recruiting class, and the No. 216 overall prospect. At 6-foot-3, 217 pounds, Wooten could make an impact on Gus Malzahn's program sooner rather than later.
