Performer of the Day: Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky

As one of the finalists for the Naismith Player of the Year award, hardcore college basketball fans already knew how much talent Frank Kaminsky possesses.
After his performance in Wisconsin's tournament-opening win over Coastal Carolina, now the casual fans know as well.
The senior forward was nearly unstoppable and put up a dominant performance to help the Badgers manhandle the Chanticleers. Kaminsky showed off both his outside game (by nailing three 3-pointers) and his inside game as evidenced by this sweet bit of footwork in the post:
Kaminsky finished the day with 27 points on an efficient 10-of-14 from the floor while adding 12 rebounds and four assists for good measure. Of course that came in a 86-72 victory over 16th-seeded Coastal Carolina, the real question is: can he do the same when the competition steps up?
Next up for the Badgers is a Round of 32 matchup against an Oregon team that struggled defensively against Oklahoma State. Another huge Kaminsky game could be on the horizon.
