"Shakur felt very comfortable with what he saw on his visit to UNLV," his community college assistant coach Jay Cyriac told Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com. "Coach Menzies actively recruited him and was able to build a strong relationship."
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward is the second big-name recruit to join UNLV in the last few days, as Menzies grabbed a commitment from five-star center Brandon McCoy earlier in the week.
Juiston averaged 17.3 points and 12.1 rebounds for Hutchinson Community College last season.
