Stephen Curry came into Monday's matchup with the Sacramento Kings a little on the human side. In his previous two games, the reigning NBA MVP had been held to under 20 points while shooting 40 percent and under - including just 25 percent from deep.

Monday's contest began even worse for Curry. In his first 21 minutes, he was 0-for-6 from field, including 0-for-5 from three.

Then, in true "Chef Curry" fashion, he scored 17 points in under three-and-a-half minutes.

By the time he was done, Curry had his first triple-double of the season with 23 points, a career-high 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 122-103 Warriors win. As a bonus, Curry surpassed Mitch Richmond for 30th all time in NBA 3-pointers.

Draymond Green added a season-high 25 points.

The Dubs are now 29-1 on the season, including 15-0 at home. They finish their 2015 schedule at Oracle Arena with a mark of 42-1 - the best calendar year home record in NBA history. Golden State wraps up the year on the road in Texas, with stops in Dallas and Houston.

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was ejected in the third quarter. Omri Casspi had a huge night for Sacramento, hitting nine threes and finishing with a career-high 36 points.
