After an impressive summer league, Simmons has made just one appearance this season for San Antonio, which came during a lopsided game against the Sixers this past Saturday. It's certainly possible for the rookie to rejoin the Spurs and coach Gregg Popovich at some point in the near future, but the shooting guard won't be expected to see much playing time at any point during the 2015-16 campaign.
