VIDEO: Russell Westbrook needs PB&J and a nap before every game
Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports
Russell Westbrook is taking us all the way back to kindergarten with his pre-game ritual.
The Oklahoma City Thunder star described his secret to success while appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" - an hour-long nap and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
And not just any PB&J, but ...
1. Skippy brand, on
2. Wheat bread, toasted, sometimes buttered, with
3. Strawberry jelly, not jam (yes, there is a difference), and
4. Cut in half.
Westbrook, who is not five years old in case there was any confusion after this description, also told Kimmel about wanting to beat Michael Jordan's triple-double record.
