Report: LeBron focused on his weight and down 10 pounds, finally meets with Cavs staff
Apparently there's more to this story than just an awkwardly shot Instagram picture.
According to a report from Brian Windhorst of ESPN, LeBron James finally met with the Cleveland Cavaliers' front office on Tuesday after wrapping up a busy month in his offseason. The month of July saw James travel to Brazil and China as part of promotional tours.
But the news isn't James' meeting with the Cavaliers. Rather, it's that he's lost "over 10 pounds" since adhering to a new carbohydrates-free diet. Windhorst notes that James has prioritized weight loss since his loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.
Windhorst's report also notes that James has still not yet contacted No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins, who is rumored to be part of a "handshake agreement" that would send him to Minnesota for Timberwolves forward Kevin Love.
