Breaking: Pau Gasol is still very popular.
Less than an hour after ESPN's report emerged that the Oklahoma City Thunder feel they're a long shot to land the free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports tweets they're not as far behind as they think.

Ken Berger of CBS seemed to support the claim that the three teams are largely in front of both the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, both thought to be possible landing spots for Gasol.

The Thunder may be missing out due to questions about the quality of life in OKC, with a lack of cultural diversity relative to Los Angeles.
