LeBron says his body failed him in Game 1, didn't sleep after spending night in restroom
Miami Heat star LeBron James met with the media Friday afternoon to discuss the cramping that led to his departure with four minutes remaining in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
James and the rest of the Heat addressed what head coach Erik Spoelstra referred to as "Cramp-gate" during media availability with reporters after practice.
"For obvious reasons, I was angry, I was disappointed in myself," James said, via ESPN. "I did everything that I needed to do to prepare for this game, prepare for this moment and to feel like my body failed me ... I was angry in the fact that I couldn't help my team get over the hump. In a huge Game 1, I wanted to make a statement."
