From bloggers to 'Bron, everyone impressed with Lillard's winner

Damian Lillard set twitter ablaze on Tuesday night when he hit a game-winning 3-pointer against the Cleveland Cavaliers, with 0.4 seconds left, from way back (see the GIF below).

No less an authority than LeBron James himself was impressed with the performance:

His teammates were also quick to give him some social media love and a good, firm handshake:

Far less authoritative sources (good people, though) also reacted to Lillard's giant cojones:

And our favorite, if you know your Breaking Bad:

The reaction wasn't contained simply to twitter, though.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN passes on reactions from Lillard and Kyrie Irving, respectively, from after the game:

"When you're playing against a top point guard, you don't really have a choice but to bring it. Especially with a guy like [Irving] that's in attack mode on the offensive end. If I don't put my best foot forward, he could go out there and beat my team by himself on a good night." (Lillard)
...
"That's what all great players want, that last shot. It was a great one." (Irving)

Eric Freeman of Ball Don't Lie wraps up the multi-dagger week:

The simple fact that Lillard hit game-winners in consecutive games would be enough to bring him attention, but the degree of difficulty of both shots adds to his accomplishment. While Tuesday's 30-footer is amazing in its own right, Sunday's off-balance turnaround jumper was arguably more amazing. Additionally, both winners came directly after amazing plays from opponents, indicating that Lillard has a special flair for the dramatic.

Dave Deckard of Blazer's Edge sums up how other teams probably feel playing against Portland at this point:

The Cavs went +20 in the paint, committed only 6 turnovers, shot a healthy 47% from the field, and their bench outscored Portland's 50-16.  That's a win, especially at home, right?

Ha ha ha!  Fool. These are the Blazers!  Get with the program.  Likely the league is starting to wonder why they even play these games.  Just chalk up the "L" on the opponent ledger and let everybody go home.

Ryan Mourton of Fear the Sword decided to ignore the final shot:

Well, that was really really awesome...... and bizarre. Kyrie Irving scored 9 straight points in 61 seconds, and then fed Anderson Varejao for the game tying bucket (Credit: Tristan Thompson for awesome defense to allow this to occur). Then, the strangest thing happened: The game was just mysteriously called. Tied at 116, it was just over. Nothing happened after that. Not a thing. What are you looking at? Stop it.

Oh, and as a final note, Damian Lillard probably disagrees with the notion that clutch doesn't exist:
