Best moments from Nuggets' championship parade

The Denver Nuggets won the first championship in the franchise's 47-year history on Monday, and the team and its fans made up for lost time with an epic parade Thursday to celebrate the feat.

The star of the show was head coach Michael Malone. The 51-year-old screamed, cried, and cursed through the streets of Denver, displaying unwavering confidence that it would not be the last championship parade of his Nuggets tenure.

Warning: Some videos contain coarse language

The star duo of Finals MVP Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were inevitably going to get special attention. But given the difficulty of navigating the parade route, the duo arrived in a SWAT vehicle.

Just as he's done countless times, Murray teed up Jokic, flawlessly introducing his teammate's speech. Hopefully, Jokic's daughter didn't hear some of the colorful language her father used to describe his excitement.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was the only Nuggets player who had previously won a championship, but he didn't get to celebrate his 2020 title with the Los Angeles Lakers properly due to COVID-19. So he made his second chance count.

And lastly, it's not a perfect parade without the fans. Here are some of the best moments from the rambunctious Denver crowd.
