Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is progressing well in his recovery from partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane and a contusion in his lower leg, the team announced Wednesday.

The Warriors said the superstar has started individual on-court workouts and will undergo a re-evaluation in a week.

Curry, who missed the last five games, sustained the leg injury in early February and was expected to sit out for multiple weeks.

The two-time MVP has been sidelined for 16 contests this season due to various ailments.

The 34-year-old is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists, and 6.3 rebounds during the 2022-23 campaign.
