Klay Thompson just added fuel to the fire in the Golden State Warriors-Memphis Grizzlies rivalry.

After a dominant 123-109 Christmas Day victory in which the Warriors nearly led nearly wire to wire without superstar Stephen Curry and starting forward Andrew Wiggins, Thompson explained his disdain for the Grizzlies' attitude.

"You can't talk dynasty when you haven't won before," Thompson said regarding the message he wanted to send to the Grizzlies. "I don't think people realize how hard that is. ... I thought that was premature."

After making a jumper in the fourth quarter of the blowout win, Thompson received a technical foul for taunting Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks.

The Warriors and Grizzlies engaged in a heated playoff series last season, after which Thompson called Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. a "clown" for making fun of Golden State earlier in the season.

Grizzlies star Ja Morant and Warriors forward Draymond Green chirped back-and-forth at one another via Twitter over the summer, with each expressing a desire to face off on Christmas Day.

The Warriors accumulated six technical fouls in total Sunday, including two on guard Jordan Poole.
