Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic and guard Trey Burke entered the NBA's health and safety protocols Wednesday, the team announced.

Both have been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. They join four other Mavericks already in COVID-19 protocols: Reggie Bullock, Tim Hardaway, Josh Green, and Maxi Kleber.

Doncic missed Dallas' last five games with an ankle issue but had hoped to return against Milwaukee, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon. The 22-year-old is averaging 25.6 points, 8.5 assists, eight rebounds, and one steal in 21 games this season.

Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis is questionable to face the Bucks due to right toe soreness. He did not play in Tuesday's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
