The Houston Rockets declined Avery Bradley's $5.9-million team option for 2021-22, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Both parties reportedly came to a mutual agreement to part ways. The veteran guard is expected to attract interest from contenders and teams he's suited up for previously, adds Charania.

Bradley has played for seven clubs over 11 years in the Association.

Houston acquired the two-time NBA All-Defensive team selection from the Miami Heat last season. He averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 boards, and 1.9 assists across 17 appearances with the Rockets.
