Celtics' Langford cleared to train
Romeo Langford has been cleared by the Boston Celtics' cardiac specialists to resume training, head coach Brad Stevens announced Monday, per NBC Sports Boston.
"I don't know when he'll be cleared to play, per se. He'll certainly come soon and he'll be active soon, but he's not going to be able to play long stints for a while," Stevens said. "You may be able to throw him in there in one of these upcoming games at home for a couple of minutes at a time. That's about it."
Langford hasn't played this season after undergoing surgery on his right wrist. The 21-year-old recently entered the league's health and safety protocols, which is the official reason for his absence from Monday's tilt versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
