Jeremy Lin will play for the Golden State Warriors' G League team, after all.

The 32-year-old guard will sign a contract to play with the Santa Cruz Warriors as he pursues an NBA return, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Warriors reportedly attempted to sign Lin to a G League deal before last month's preseason deadline but couldn't get the FIBA-mandated clearance in time from his last team, the CBA's Beijing Ducks.

Lin, who grew up in the Bay Area, last played in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors in 2018-19 - when he became the first Asian-American player to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy. He began his NBA career with the Warriors as an undrafted free agent in 2010.

Santa Cruz is one of 17 G League teams reportedly set to take part in the league's bubble in Florida next month.
