The Toronto Raptors and forward OG Anunoby agreed to a four-year, $72-million contract extension, his representation told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Anunoby's deal contains a player option for the 2024-25 campaign.

His contract is structured with maximum 8% raises, which was done to preserve salary-cap space in 2021, The Athletic's Blake Murphy reports.

He was eligible for a rookie extension leading up to Monday's 6 p.m. ET deadline.

Anunoby averaged 10.6 points on a career-high 39% mark from 3-point range last season, along with 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game as a full-time starter. The 23-year-old is expected to occupy a larger offensive role this season following the departures of big men Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol in free agency.

The Raptors drafted Anunoby with the 23rd overall pick in 2017. Originally projected as a lottery selection, he slid down draft boards after undergoing season-ending knee surgery as a sophomore at Indiana.

Toronto now has franchise cornerstones Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and Anunoby all under team control through at least the 2022-23 season.
