Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie is known to ether New York Knicks fans on Twitter, but the way he sees it, he's just being honest.

Dinwiddie explained his constant trolling of the Nets' crosstown rival during a recent appearance on the House of Highlights "Through the Wire" podcast.

"It's not really shots. Like, I tell the truth. Y'all just don't like truth and it turns into this whole big thing," Dinwiddie said. "Hey look, if y'all are buns, y'all are buns. It's cool. Y'all got my guy Theo Pinson. I know y'all bench gonna be lively and dancing and stuff. It's gonna be phenomenal to see."

Dinwiddie stated earlier this year that while the Nets will never have more fans than the Knicks, they're the better team on the court.

"We're a better basketball team than the Knicks," he told Marc Berman of the New York Post in February. "We were last year. Probably will be next year. It kind of is what it is. So I know Knicks fans are going to get mad, but that is the truth."

The Nets finished this season seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 35-37 record, while the Knicks went 21-45.
