Phoenix Suns big man Frank Kaminsky will miss an indefinite period of time due to a patella stress fracture in his right knee.

He will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Kaminsky missed the Suns' last three games with the ailment, but it isn't clear exactly when he first suffered the injury.

The 26-year-old center is averaging 11 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 22.4 minutes per game this season. Though he's been used primarily in a reserve role, Kaminsky did start 13 games for Phoenix while Deandre Ayton was out due to a suspension.

Kaminsky signed a two-year, $10-million deal with the Suns over the summer. The Charlotte Hornets drafted him ninth overall in 2015, and he averaged 9.8 points and four rebounds over four seasons with the franchise.
