The Golden State Warriors and Shaun Livingston reportedly agreed to push back the guarantee date on the guard's contract to July 10, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Livingston was set to be guaranteed $7.7 million next season if he remained on the Warriors' roster after June 30. Golden State, however, now has an extra 10 days to decide whether to buy out the forward for $2 million, which would give the club added flexibility in free agency, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Warriors are expected to be active when free agency begins Sunday. The club is reportedly planning to offer Klay Thompson a five-year, $190-million max contract as soon as the negotiating window opens at 6 p.m. ET, and the Dubs are said to be on Kevin Durant's list of four teams that he plans to meet with.

Livingston, 33, re-signed with the Warriors in 2017 on a three-year, $24-million deal. He averaged four points and 1.8 assists in 64 games last season in a reserve role.
