The NBA's last-two-minute report confirmed on Friday that Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors stepped out of bounds late in Thursday's overtime loss to the Houston Rockets.
Durant crossed out of bounds to save an errant ball, sending it back to Klay Thompson, who then fed Stephen Curry for a jumper that gave the Warriors a two-point lead with 23 seconds left in the extra period.

Officials missed the play entirely. The Rockets, however, saved further grievance when James Harden won the game for Houston 21 seconds later with a 29-foot three-pointer.
Durant admitted to reporters afterward that he knew he was out of bounds.
"The refs were missing a lot tonight," he said.
