In 2015, former NBA star Lamar Odom nearly died as the result of a cocaine overdose suffered at a Nevada brothel. In a recent interview with comedian Kevin Hart, Odom shed more light on how serious the condition was that left him hospitalized in a coma for two days.

"All my doctors that see me say I'm a walking miracle," Odom said on an episode of Hart's web series "Cold as Balls". "I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in a coma."

Odom appears to have rebounded from the turmoil, and announced last month that he plans on resuming his playing career in China. The 2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, who turns 39 in November, didn't say which CBA franchise he will be suiting up for, although multiple reports identify the team as the Shenzhen Leopards.
