Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that forward Andre Iguodala would miss Saturday night's Game 6 against the Houston Rockets due to his lateral left leg contusion, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

Iguodala was sidelined with the injury for Games 4 and 5 after banging his knee during the fourth quarter of Game 3.

The Warriors have struggled to find a successful fifth wheel to play alongside Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson during Iguodala's absence, cycling through different looks that included little-used wing Nick Young and third point guard Quinn Cook.

After a quiet regular season, Iguodala came alive for the Warriors in the playoffs as the fifth member of the "Hamptons 5" lineup, providing high-level defense and shooting 47.9 percent from the field.
