The Oklahoma City Thunder have suspended play-by-play announcer Brian Davis for one game for his offensive on-air comment about Russell Westbrook, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
During the Thunder's final game of the regular season, Davis reacted to a Westbrook pass by saying that the reigning MVP was "out of his cotton-picking mind."
The Thunder released a statement condemning his racially insensitive language, and Davis apologized. He will be replaced in the booth by Matt Pinto for Game 1 against the Utah Jazz on Sunday, Young reports.
