Former NBA star guard Ben Gordon was arrested Saturday for felony robbery following a dispute at a Los Angeles apartment complex he used to live in, the Los Angeles Police Department told USA TODAY Sports' Scott Gleeson.

Gordon allegedly punched a building manager in the face in an attempt to recover a security deposit, public information officer Irma Mota told Gleeson. According to the police report, after the man gave Gordon some of his money back, Gordon left, and the manager called authorities. Gordon later returned with a knife to demand the rest of his money, police said, but left after a witness intervened and was subsequently arrested.

In June, Gordon was arrested for falsely activating fire alarms in his apartment complex, and he was hospitalized in October for a psychiatric evaluation following a dispute with a woman at his sports rehabilitation center. He was not charged in relation to the latter incident.

The one-time Sixth Man of the Year earned approximately $84.6 million over 11 seasons in the NBA, according to Basketball Reference. He last appeared in the league with the Orlando Magic in 2015.
