Melo shoots down 'false news' of Jordan discontinuing signature shoe
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony says reports that Jordan Brand is killing off his signature shoe line are "false news."
Anthony dismissed the article from ESPN's shoe guru Nick DePaula, which had Jordan Brand ending Anthony's sneaker series after 13 models to date.
"False, false. Let's not even discuss that," Anthony said. "I just signed an extension with them. I don't read into false news."

Jordan Brand recently slipped behind Adidas as the third-biggest footwear seller in America. It would, however, seem strange to discontinue Anthony's sneaker just as he teams up with Jordan's signature athlete, Russell Westbrook.
