Embiid, Twitter freak out over Fultz injury
The Process took another hit Saturday as No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz went down with what turned out to be an ankle sprain.
It was an unwelcome, but all too familiar, sight for Philadelphia 76ers faithful, who have watched their lottery picks suffer injuries and miss significant time before suiting up in a single NBA game.
Most recently, last year's top pick Ben Simmons broke his foot during training camp and missed 2016-17. Before that, Joel Embiid underwent two foot surgeries, which delayed his pro debut by as many years.
The latter took to Twitter to express his concern upon seeing Fultz roll his ankle.
