Mychal Thompson: LeBron acts too entitled
It appears Klay isn't the only Thompson who thinks LeBron James took Draymond Green's verbal attack too personally.
Mychal Thompson, Klay's father, reiterated his son's point on Monday, believing James was a little too sensitive about being called a certain five-letter word in Game 4.
"Are you freaking kidding me? Who complains to the media about being called a name?" Thompson said in a radio interview, according to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group. "We all respect LeBron's ability ... but man sometimes he acts too entitled like he's supposed to get everything he wants."
Despite being struck in the groin, reports are that LeBron was more angered at Green for being called a "b--ch" than for the shot to the nether regions. Green has been suspended for Game 5 for his role in the incident.
Thompson - a key member of the Showtime Lakers during the 1980s - added that LeBron would've struggled mightily in his era if he couldn't handle the trash talk that was regularly thrown around.
"LeBron couldn't have survived in the 80s with the physicality and the words guys said to each other back then," he said.
