Even after serving his one-game suspension for racking up 16 technical fouls, DeMarcus Cousins isn't cowed.
The Sacramento Kings center picked up his 17th of the season Tuesday night, with this impolite shove of Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Gerald Henderson.
Henderson seemed to deliberately bump Cousins on his way to the bench during a timeout, prompting the disproportionate reaction. It's not the first time Henderson's provoked such retaliation from an opponent this season.
Cousins, meanwhile, is on thin ice - though the potential repercussions are relatively minor. Once a player serves a suspension for getting to 16 techs, he's suspended for every two thereafter. With the Kings planning to sit him for their final two road games of the season, he needs to avoid getting T'd up Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves if he wants to play in the Kings' final game at Arco Arena on Saturday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
If he gets a tech in that game, though, he can simply serve the suspension during one of the final two games the Kings planned to sit him for anyway.
