Jose Aldo biopic delayed after UFC 194 loss

Conor McGregor may have ruined any chance of Jose Aldo's career having a Hollywood ending.

"Mais forte que o mundo - A historia de Jose Aldo" (Stronger than the world - The Jose Aldo story), a biopic about the legendary 145-pound champion, was scheduled to be released in Brazil on Jan. 14, 2016. However, following Aldo's catastrophic loss to McGregor at UFC 194, Brazilian MMA site Super Lutas has reported that the film's opening will be postponed, according to BloodyElbow.com's Lucas Rezende.

Reports that McGregor is being recruited for starring roles himself is likely serving as added salt in Aldo's wound.

The companies behind the production, Paris Filmes and Downtown Filmes, are now reportedly aiming to release it in conjunction with Aldo's next fight.
