Conor McGregor's star power is expanding beyond the confines of the Octagon.

The now-undisputed UFC featherweight champion has been offered a part in the Vin Diesel film "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," FOX Sports.com's Damon Martin reports.

Diesel referenced McGregor's post-fight speech in an Instagram post that announced the casting on Monday:

Timing and precision... The casting of the new XXX gets more exciting everyday. #Iliveforthisshit

And that's not the only action star bidding for the champ's services. Mark Wahlberg told TMZ that he is also interested in working with McGregor.

"Yeah, we talked about him for something," said Wahlberg. "We like him."

Wahlberg knows a thing or two about scouting the MMA ranks for castmates. He's currently working on "Mile 22" with Ronda Rousey.

This isn't the first time McGregor has expressed an interest in doing movies, though his plate will be full if his plan to win the lightweight title and rule two divisions comes to fruition.
