The UFC announced that Thiago Santos will replace Glover Teixeira in the Fight Night 137 main event against Jimi Manuwa on Sept 22.
Teixeira had been set to headline the promotion's return to Brazil, but withdrew from the card last week due to a shoulder injury.
Santos is the No. 12-ranked middleweight, but he'll move up one weight class for this light heavyweight bout with Manuwa. The 34-year-old Brazilian has won five of his last six fights, including a victory over Kevin Holland in his most recent matchup via unanimous decision at UFC 227 on Aug. 4.
Meanwhile, Manuwa is the UFC's No. 5-ranked light heavyweight. He's lost his last two bouts, which came against Jan Błachowicz and Volkan Oezdemir.
