FC Dallas was hoping for a comeback.
Instead, the Portland Timbers celebrated sweet victory courtesy of Lucas Melano, who scored a 95th-minute goal to give his team a 2-2 draw at Toyota Stadium, and a 5-3 aggregate win overall.
Melano scored an incredible tap-in goal, rounding goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez with some tricky footwork before guiding the ball across the goal line to Dallas' horror.
The Timbers lifted the MLS Western Conference Championship trophy and now prepare for the MLS Cup Final against either the New York Red Bulls or the Columbus Crew.
