Giovani Dos Santos might have some familiar company at the LA Galaxy, as the club is reportedly negotiating a Designated Player contract with the star man's younger brother Jonathan Dos Santos, according to Taylor Twellman of ESPN FC.
Jonathan Dos Santos, 27, is currently with Villarreal and would be the club's third Designated Player, with the Galaxy presumably paying down Jelle Van Damme's contract using allocation funds as he, Giovani Dos Santos, and Romain Alessandrini already occupy the roster's three allotted DP slots.
The two Mexico internationals were linked with a reunion in California last January but a move did not materialize in the winter transfer window.
