Cleveland may rock, but the city had to cope with the frostiest Opening Day in club history when the Indians took the field Tuesday.
As the Indians hosted the Boston Red Sox at Progressive Field to get their 2016 season underway, temperatures in the area dropped to 34 degrees Fahrenheit, which set an Opening Day record for the coldest opener ever played by the Indians.

The previous franchise record, 36 degrees, was set in 1907.
Even though temperatures in Beantown can get nippy as well, the Red Sox made sure to dress appropriately for the encounter.

Cleveland's opener was originally scheduled for Monday but was postponed due to the cold.
