Even with spring training underway, the Milwaukee Brewers front office is still looking to improve.
The club has agreed to a minor-league deal with left-handed reliever Franklin Morales, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Morales' deal includes an invitation to major-league spring training.
The 30-year-old veteran will compete for a spot in the Brewers bullpen and has a good shot at being one of the club's left-handed options after holding lefties to a .192 average last season.
Morales spent last season with the World Series champion Kansas City Royals, appearing in 67 games, posting a 3.18 ERA across 62 1/3 innings.
