The New York Yankees traded for Starlin Castro, a natural shortstop, to play second base alongside Didi Gregorius, but that clearly didn't stop him from ranging into his old stomping grounds during Wednesday's exhibition game with the Detroit Tigers to make an outstanding play.
Castro is also taking reps at third base this spring as insurance for Chase Headley should he succumb to injury at some point.
The 25-year-old was acquired in a December trade that sent righty Adam Warren and infielder Brendan Ryan to the Chicago Cubs.
