Royals' sympathy for Panthers makes Chiefs jealous
If there's anything that can bring teams in different sports together, it's the crushing experience of a big loss.
The Carolina Panthers went through just that after losing 24-10 to the Denver Broncos at Super Bowl 50, but the Kansas City Royals' Twitter account was quick to remind the NFL team that losing in a big final might just provide the required motivation for the following year.

Kansas City fell in seven games to the San Francisco Giants in the 2014 World Series before downing the New York Mets in five the very next year, giving the club's advice a measure of credibility.
However, the city's own NFL franchise, the Kansas City Chiefs, was a little jealous after the exchange.

The Royals were quick to defuse the Chiefs' envy.
