Cardinals' Molina, Cubs' Ross behind the plate for Game 1 of NLDS

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon has opted to go with veteran David Ross behind the plate for Friday's Game 1 of the National League Division Series with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Maddon has made a number of personnel moves. Kyle Schwarber started in right field for the wild-card game, but will move over to left. Kris Bryant goes from left to third base as Tommy La Stella will sit.

For the first time in 12 years, the Chicago Cubs are heading to the National League Championship Series.

The Cubs made history Tuesday by clinching a postseason series at home for the first time in their 139-year existence with a 6-4 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 4 of the NLDS.
