The Houston Astros have made up their minds about who will follow American League Division Series Game 1 starter Collin McHugh.

Left-hander Scott Kazmir will start Game 2 against the Kansas City Royals, while Dallas Keuchel gets the nod at Minute Maid Park, where he posted a perfect 15-0 record in the regular season.

Keuchel, who shut out the New York Yankees over six innings in Tuesday's wild-card win, will be starting the Astros' first playoff game in Houston since the 2005 World Series.

Since coming to the Astros in a July 23 trade from the Oakland Athletics, Kazmir owns a 4.17 ERA in 13 starts.

The Royals will counter with Yordano Ventura in Game 1, Johnny Cueto in Game 2, and Edinson Volquez in Game 3.
